Smart Choice Public Adjuster LLC was founded from a former desk adjuster working for several insurance companies handling claim on their behalf. That is where he realized that policy holders were not getting the service they deserved after paying sometimes decades of premiums and finally decided to file a claim. As a result SCPA was created to assist policy holders with exceptional customer service and a peace of mind that their claim is being handled with their best interest in mind.
What does Smart Choice Public Adjuster LLC do in case of a Loss?
Our first interest is to ensure that you the Policy holder and your family is safe. Once there is a loss we first check to see if your home is inhabitable. If not we will have the insurance company place you in a hotel or a place of your choice until your home becomes habitable or to your policy limit which ever one comes first.

We then make arrangement with your contractor or one of our preferred contractors to conduct temporary repairs if needed to prevent further damages. We ensure that your claim is properly filed and you are kept fully abreast with the claim process. Our loss adjusters will ensure that photos are taken, all building codes are up to the required standard.

Smart Choice Public Adjuster LLC are able, in most cases, to work on a NO WIN – NO FEE basis. If a valid claim is settled and the reinstatement of the building works and related matters are carried out by one or more of SCPA approved warranted contractor network/suppliers. YOU and your insurer do not pay any fees as our costs and fees are covered by the approved and authorised contractors and suppliers.
Getting The Policy Holder Their Full Entitlement
Obviously, Smart Choice Public Adjuster can only negotiate what is available under the terms and conditions of your policy. In any instances where there may be sections subject to interpretation, you will be given the best possible assistance to negotiate or put forward your point of view. SCPA’s mission statement is to obtain “100% of what a Policyholder is entitled to and NO more!”
If however, your decision is to accept a cash settlement following SCPA’s professional advice and management of the claim, then and only then is a fixed fee of 10% of the final settlement value.
